Marisa Jansen grew up in Santa Cruz with about 30 years background in gymnastics. She always wanted to feel more confident in dance and discovered Zumba when she was 19 years old. She works as an elementary school teacher going on 15 year now. She got Zumba certified in 2011 and has been teaching classes as a way to stay fit, connect to her community, motivate others, and have fun!
