Leslee Bassin :

With over 20 years study and practice within the various forms of Yoga, I completed a 200hr Vinyasa teacher training in 2014 with Rolf Gates.
My intention was to simply dive deeper into my personal practice,
however I soon discovered my passion for sharing the benefits of Yoga both on and off the mat.
Incorporating my background within the medical field as an intensive care nurse and hospice/palliative care consultant, provided me tools for not only understanding the physical body, but the wisdom of the heart.
Following the path of Bhakti Yoga, my focus has been on the more meditative aspects of Yoga including Yin and Restorative style classes.
Continuing to learn and mature as both student and teacher, my studies have introduced me to some amazing teachers who have impacted not only my life but my teaching. Most important in this process include Chuck Miller, Maty Ezraty, Janet Stone, Stephanie Snyder, Paul Grilley, Dharma Mitra, Aimee Nitzberg, Mark Stephens as well as luminaries Ram Dass, Jack Kornfield, Trudy Goodman, Roshi Joan Halifax, Sharon Salzburg, Joseph Goldstein, and Krishna Das~I continue to be inspired and guided by their insights.
I’ve completed a Yin Yoga Teacher Training, Trauma Informed Teacher Training, 300hr Teacher Training and am registered with Yoga Alliance 500RYT.
